Lethal Weapon (1987) was Richard Donner's film from a Shane Black script, and Gary Busey plays its enforcer, Mr. Joshua, the platinum-haired killer who works for General McAllister and the ex-mercenaries of Shadow Company as they run heroin through Los Angeles. Busey makes Joshua the kind of villain you remember more vividly than the plot. In his introduction he holds his forearm over a cigarette lighter without flinching, proving to the General that he feels nothing. He gets the closest thing to a heavyweight finish the film has, a hand-to-hand brawl with Mel Gibson's Riggs on Murtaugh's front lawn.
The watch is on Joshua's wrist in the car, as he leans out a window firing a pistol into the street. It is a watch on a metal bracelet with a dark dial, and the night lighting and motion keep the maker from reading. It stays unidentified.
