Dwayne Johnson wears a Breitling Avenger

Luke Hobbs spends most of Furious 7 (2015) out of the fight. Deckard Shaw comes through his office in the opening act and puts him in a hospital bed, and he stays there while the team chases the God's Eye around the world. The production still catches the part everyone remembers: Hobbs back on his feet for the final battle, tactical vest on, working a minigun behind a wall of muzzle flame, and on his left wrist, riding the recoil, a big steel watch.

The watch reads as a Breitling Super Avenger II, reference A1337111/BC28-201S: 48 millimeters of brushed steel, a black dial with three registers and white stencil Arabic numerals, a chronometer-certified chronograph, 300 meters of water resistance, on Breitling's perforated black Ocean Racer rubber strap. Set against a catalog shot, the frame supports the reading without quite sealing it: the rider tabs on the bezel, the crown and pusher cluster at the flank, and the pale numerals cutting through the black dial all line up, at a resolution that stops short of proof. No watch publication ever documented Hobbs' wrist in this film; the lists that tracked his watches through the rest of the franchise simply skip it, and one of the biggest chronographs Breitling makes went unrecorded on the biggest arm in the cast.
