The Wrecking Crew is the buddy-cop action comedy Amazon dropped on Prime Video in January 2026, where it shot to number one in dozens of countries. Ángel Manuel Soto directed and Jonathan Tropper wrote it, and the pairing is the whole pitch: Jason Momoa as Jonny Hale, a reckless Hawaii cop, and Dave Bautista as his estranged half-brother James, a buttoned-down Navy SEAL, thrown back together after their father is murdered.
In one drenched scene, the brothers sit slumped against a Honolulu Police cruiser in the rain, soaked and beaten. James, the disciplined one, wears a gold wedding ring, and on that wrist a dark watch on a dark strap. Both men are caked in mud by now, and the watch is no exception: its face is turned away and its brand is lost under the grime.
No source has identified the watch, and the film barely lets you see it. Off screen, Bautista is a serious collector who wore a gold Panerai as Duke Cody in Glass Onion. Here the watch on James Hale's wrist is too dark and too dirty to name.
