Daniel Diemer wears a Hamilton Khaki Navy

Saban Films released Supercell to theaters and on demand on March 17, 2023, directed by Herbert James Winterstern, who wrote it with Anna Elizabeth James. Daniel Diemer plays William Brody, a teenager whose storm-chasing father Bill died in a chase years earlier. William runs away to Texas to join a chaser named Roy Cameron, while Alec Baldwin's Zane Rogers sells storm tours traded on the Brody name; the key art shows his vans painted Brody Storm Tours. Anne Heche, in one of her final roles, plays Quinn, William's mother.

Hamilton's product page for the Khaki Navy Frogman Auto, reference H77605135, lists the watch as featured in Supercell twice: worn by William Brody, played by Daniel Diemer, and worn by Bill, played by Richard Gunn. The dead father and the runaway son wear the same dive watch. It is a 42 millimeter stainless steel automatic running Hamilton's H-10 caliber with an 80 hour power reserve, a black dial, a screw-down crown, and 300 meters of water resistance, and it lists for 1,295 dollars.

Hamilton built the original Frogman for U.S. Navy frogman teams, and its own page still introduces the watch through the 1951 movie The Frogmen, the smash hit that made its name. Seventy years on, the brand logged it back in the movies, twice in one film, on a father and a son.
