The watch on Corey Hawkins in 6 Underground belongs to a brand most people have never heard of. Hawkins plays Seven, a sniper on Ryan Reynolds's numbered team of vigilantes, and the watch is a Réservoir Supercharged. Réservoir is a small Paris house started in 2015 by François Moreau, a former banker, and it builds watches that read like car dashboards. The Supercharged is the literal version of that: the minute hand sweeps across an arc like a tachometer needle and snaps back to zero, the hour jumps in a window, and the power reserve is drawn as a fuel gauge, the styling lifted from the instrument panels of sports cars built between the 1930s and the 1960s.
It was, as far as anyone can tell, the first time a Réservoir appeared in a film. The French watch magazine that spotted it pinned the watch to one scene, where Seven and Reynolds pose as consultants for a high-end corporate security firm, and noted that Michael Bay may have bought one for himself. Reynolds otherwise wears a Chopard. Nobody has said why the production put an obscure Parisian car-watch on the sniper, and it never gets a close-up, so the reason stays a guess.
