He wipes out an ambush single-handed before the team even sees him, tells Barney he flies solo, and answers a rumor about a king cobra bite with the film's best joke: he was bitten, yes, and after five days of agonizing pain, the cobra died. He never came back for the later films, and his own verdict on the experience was simple. This is it for me.
