Christopher Eccleston wears an unidentified watch

Fred Noonan was Amelia Earhart's navigator on the 1937 round-the-world flight that vanished over the Pacific. Christopher Eccleston plays him in Mira Nair's Amelia (2009), opposite Hilary Swank as Earhart. In the film's cockpit scenes, a gold tonneau-cased dress watch with a small seconds dial sits on Noonan's wrist, a 1930s style on a dark leather strap.

The brand is not legible and no source identifies it. Hamilton's watch does appear in the film, but on Earhart rather than Noonan: the watch publication Worldtempus records that Swank wears a 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic, a tribute to the brand's early aviation models. Nothing ties Noonan's dress watch to that or to any particular maker, so it stays unidentified.
