Christian Slater wears an unidentified watch

Christian Slater plays Robert Boyd in Very Bad Things as the member of the bachelor party group who turns out to be genuinely dangerous. When a stripper dies at their Vegas hotel, Boyd is the first to stop panicking and start planning. Peter Berg directed this 1998 black comedy, and Slater plays Boyd as a man whose calm in a crisis is less reassuring than it should be — he is too good at this, too quick to move from accident to disposal. The film follows the group as the cover-up requires more and more compromises, and Boyd is always the one pushing them further.
