Chris McKay's The Tomorrow War (2021) drafts present-day civilians into a war thirty years ahead, and Chris Pratt's Dan Forester, a biology teacher and Iraq veteran, gets pulled in with the rest. The watch on his wrist is an MTM Special Ops Air Stryk II, and the identification needs no detective work, because MTM's own media page advertises it: "Check out MTM's AirStryk II watch worn by actor Chris Pratt on the film The Tomorrow War." The brand has built a sideline out of action wrists; the same page claims Dwayne Johnson in Skyscraper, Jake Gyllenhaal in The Covenant, Shemar Moore in S.W.A.T., and Jason Statham wearing his on his own time.

The Air Stryk II is 45 millimeters of Grade 2 titanium running MTM's quartz module on a Swiss Ronda 763E base, analog hands over digital displays, with a digital compass, preset time zones for 58 cities, five alarms, a ten-lap chronograph, and a sapphire crystal. Pratt wears the black version on MTM's logo-embossed rubber band with the case turned to the inside of his wrist, and the record's still catches it exactly that way: black case rotated inward, the round MTM emblem facing out, the dial hidden while the time-jump cuff sits on his other forearm. The feature MTM advertises hardest fits the film it landed in. Stealth mode, in the brand's words, allows "complete blackout of digital displays during covert activity," while the analog hands keep telling the time.
