Bruce Dern wears a Rolex GMT-Master

Thomas Harris published Black Sunday in 1975, six years before Red Dragon introduced Hannibal Lecter. His first novel imagined a terrorist plot to attack the Super Bowl with a weaponized Goodyear blimp, and John Frankenheimer directed the adaptation. Robert Shaw plays the Israeli agent trying to stop it. Bruce Dern plays Michael Lander, a Vietnam POW who comes home broken and agrees to fly the attack. Ernest Lehman, who wrote North by Northwest, co-wrote the screenplay, and Frankenheimer shot part of the film at the actual Super Bowl X in Miami in January 1976.

The watch on Lander's wrist is named as a Rolex GMT-Master, but the identification is thin. The only source is a watch blog that calls it a gold-and-steel GMT-Master, with no reference and no supporting image, and no still in circulation shows the watch clearly. Rolex introduced the GMT-Master in 1954 for Pan American crews, a pilot's watch built to track two time zones at once, which would suit a working pilot like Lander. Without a clearer source or a frame that shows the dial, the GMT-Master stays a plausible guess rather than a confirmed identification.
