Al Pacino wears a Rolex Datejust

David Mamet adapted his own Pulitzer Prize-winning play, and James Foley directed a cast stacked top to bottom: Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, Kevin Spacey. Pacino plays Ricky Roma, the top closer in a real estate boiler room where the month's sales contest pays out a Cadillac for first, steak knives for second, and a pink slip for everyone else.

On Roma's wrist is a gold-and-steel Rolex Datejust with a white dial and a two-tone Jubilee bracelet, identified in BAMF Style's wardrobe breakdown of the character. In the late 1980s and early 1990s the two-tone Datejust was a standard signal of having made it, and on the best salesman in the office it does double duty as success and as performance, the gold catching a client's eye before Roma says a word.
