The dial is too dark to read a name, but the parts I can see all point one way - a black dial with applied luminous markers, a fluted bezel, and the five-link Jubilee bracelet Rolex built in 1945 for the very first Datejust. So I will call it a Rolex Datejust, the steady, unflashy steel Rolex a career cop would actually wear, while admitting that without a legible dial I would not take it to court.
