Vin Diesel wears a Citizen Eco-Drive Multifunction

Xander Cage walks out of the surf, shirtless and tattooed, a cross on a chain at his chest and a steel watch on his left wrist. D.J. Caruso's xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017), the franchise's third film, opens with its hero living in the Dominican Republic after faking his death, then pulls him back to recover Pandora's Box, a device that can crash satellites onto cities like warheads.

The watch has exactly one identification on record, and it comes from a crowdsourced spotting site: a Citizen Eco-Drive Multifunction, steel case and bracelet, black dial with three subdials, solar powered, a catalog model from around 2013. No watch publication ever covered Cage's wrist, and no Citizen partnership or placement announcement exists. This entry once cited Citizen's own Eco-Drive technology pages as sources, but those pages describe the light-powered movement and say nothing about the film, so they prove only that the watch exists.

In the beach frame the watch reads exactly as far as the description allows: a steel bracelet catching the light, the case turned away from the camera, worn alongside a stack of heavy rings. The earlier film left its own trail; spotting records from the 2002 original put a Victorinox Swiss Army on Cage's wrist back then.
