Toni Collette wears a Cartier Ballon de Cartier

Clint Eastwood was ninety-three when he shot Juror No. 2, and it became the last film he directed before retiring. Jonathan Abrams wrote it: Justin Kemp, a journalist on jury duty played by Nicholas Hoult, slowly realizes that the victim in the murder case he is hearing, a woman found dead under a bridge, may have been what he hit with his car the night she died. Toni Collette plays Faith Killebrew, the prosecutor trying the case; J.K. Simmons sits on the jury as a former homicide detective, and Kiefer Sutherland plays Kemp's Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, a lawyer. Warner Bros. premiered the film at AFI Fest in October 2024, put it in fewer than fifty American theaters, and sent it to streaming on December 20, a release that drew criticism given Eastwood's commercial track record.

Killebrew wears a Cartier Ballon Bleu in rose gold. Cartier has been a jeweler since 1847, when Louis-François Cartier took over his master Adolphe Picard's Paris workshop, and Edward VII called the house the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers; the Ballon Bleu arrived only in 2007, named for the blue cabochon set in its crown. The one published identification of the watch gives the metal and the model and nothing else.

In one scene Killebrew sits on a park bench beside Kemp, hands folded on her knee in an olive suit, and the watch shows only a dark brown leather strap and a flash of polished metal, its head turned away from the camera.
