Til Schweiger wears a Zenith Defy Classic

Uwe Boll directed Far Cry, a loose adaptation of the video game, and Til Schweiger plays Jack Carver, a former Special Forces operative running a charter boat who gets pulled into a conspiracy involving genetically engineered soldiers on a remote island.

The watch on Carver's wrist is a Zenith Defy Classic Chronograph Aero, reference 03.0526.4000: a large steel case with crown guards, a coined unidirectional bezel marked at fifteen-minute intervals, and a black dial with three subdials and red chronograph accents. The reference runs Zenith's El Primero, the high-frequency automatic chronograph that beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour and can time an event to a tenth of a second. On the wrist of a former Special Forces operative it reads as a genuine tool watch, more serious than the film around it.
