Michele Laroque directed Alors on danse and stars in it as Sandra, a woman who learns that her husband Paul's affair has been running for two years, leaves him, and moves in with her sister Danie in Bougival, where two very different sisters find their way back to each other through a dance association. The film opened in France on March 16, 2022, to cold reviews, an Allocine average of 1.8 out of 5 across six publications, and an eighth-place opening week. Thierry Lhermitte, a founding member of the Le Splendid troupe behind Les Bronzes and the Pierre Brochant of Le Diner de Cons, plays Lucien, a retired bailiff and a friend of Danie's.
Montres de Luxe identified a TAG Heuer Monza chronograph on a leather strap on Lhermitte's wrist, and collector databases file the same watch under Lucien's name. The Monza's history is racing history. Heuer launched the model in 1976 to mark Niki Lauda's 1975 Formula One world title, a championship the Austrian clinched with a third place at Monza itself while Heuer served as Ferrari's timing partner, and the watch carried the brand's first black-coated case, with black, red, and luminous paint on a dial named for the track where the title was won.
The film placed eighth in its French opening week and collected its 1.8 from the critics. Lucien's Monza is the most decorated thing in it: a 1976 racing commemorative named for the circuit where Lauda clinched a world title, worn by a retired bailiff at a neighborhood dance class.
