Terence Hill wears a Rolex Explorer II

Terence Hill and Bud Spencer made a career out of likable men punching people, and Odds and Evens is one of their lighter entries. Sergio Corbucci directed this 1978 comedy about Johnny Firpo (Hill), a naval officer recruited for his skill with cards, and his brother Charlie (Spencer), a trucker who would rather settle things with his fists. The two are sent to break up an illegal gambling ring in Florida. The plot is mostly there to put Hill and Spencer in rooms where things get broken.

The watch is identified as a Rolex Explorer II, reference 1655, the model with a fixed 24-hour bezel and the bright orange 24-hour hand that Italian collectors nicknamed the Freccione, the big arrow. Rolex aimed it at speleologists, the cave explorers who lose track of day and night underground. But the identification rests on a single watch publication, with no second source and no clear photograph of the watch. Hill was a known Rolex wearer, so an Explorer II is plausible for him, but his wrist is not legible in the stills that survive from the film, and the specific reference cannot be checked against the screen.
