Simon MacCorkindale wears an unidentified watch

John Guillermin's 1978 Death on the Nile put Peter Ustinov, Mia Farrow, Bette Davis, Angela Lansbury, David Niven, Maggie Smith, and George Kennedy on a Nile steamer together, then murdered one of them. Anthony Shaffer adapted the Agatha Christie novel, and the production filmed on location in Egypt. Simon MacCorkindale plays Simon Doyle, the charming but penniless husband of heiress Linnet Ridgeway, who stole him from his former fiancee Jacqueline de Bellefort, played by Farrow.

Doyle wears a gold tonneau watch on a tan leather strap. The barrel-shaped case was a common dress watch style at the time, and gold is the right metal for a man whose whole life is funded by his wife's fortune. The brand has not been identified.
