Shemar Moore wears a MTM Sherman 3-GER

S.W.A.T. ran on CBS from 2017 to 2025, a procedural built around Daniel Harrelson, the LAPD sergeant everyone calls Hondo. Shemar Moore plays him as a former Marine and lifelong Angeleno brought back to lead a tactical unit in the city he grew up in. Over its run the wardrobe cycled through several watches on his wrist.

One of them is an MTM, which the brand points to on its own media page: the Black on Black Sherman 3-GER, worn by Hondo in the later seasons. It is a blacked-out tactical watch with a day and date and the yellow MTM logo sitting at six o'clock, the kind of plain, hard-wearing piece a SWAT sergeant would put on without thinking about it. MTM builds for exactly that buyer, the police and military market rather than the display case, which is why a watch like this turns up on a character like Hondo and almost nowhere a civilian would notice.
