Serge Reggiani wears a Rolex Air-King

Les Caïds (1972), released abroad as The Big Shots, is a Robert Enrico crime film. Serge Reggiani plays Thia, a stuntman and small-time crook who takes a young murderer, Jock (Patrick Bouchitey), under his wing. Jock falls for Célia, the daughter of Murelli (Jean Bouise), and the pair are pulled into a robbery that ends with Murelli dead and Jock arrested. Juliette Berto plays Célia and Michel Constantin plays the accomplice Weiss.

Reggiani wears a Rolex Air-King, a plain time-only Oyster with no date window and no rotating bezel. The Air-King name dates to the 1940s, when Rolex used it to honor RAF pilots, and the watch sat near the bottom of the Rolex range for decades. A single French watch site identified it, and notes that Reggiani wore the same model in another film of the period, which suggests it was his own.
