Sarah Jessica Parker wears a Cartier Tank Américaine

Marc Lawrence's Did You Hear About the Morgans? (2009) drops a separated Manhattan couple into rural Wyoming. Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker play Paul and Meryl Morgan, Upper East Siders who witness a murder and are placed in witness protection on a ranch, under the eye of the town marshal and his wife, played by Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen. The comedy runs on the gap between their old life and the one they are now hiding in.

Meryl is identified as wearing a Cartier Tank Américaine. Cartier introduced the Américaine in 1989, a longer, more curved version of the original 1917 Tank, its case bowed to follow the line of the wrist. It is a dress watch, elongated and rectangular, the kind made to sit under a shirt cuff.
