Katya does not say a word in Die Hard with a Vengeance. She is Simon Gruber's silent second-in-command, the one who does the quiet killing while Jeremy Irons does the talking, and she turns up at the Federal Reserve gold heist and at the controls of the getaway helicopter in the climax. The part was the film debut of Sam Phillips, a singer-songwriter who had just made the acclaimed Martinis and Bikinis, and a mute assassin turned out to be a strange, effective use of a performer with no lines to deliver.

Her watch is not part of any of that. No publication has identified it, and the film never gives her wrist the kind of attention it gives her stare. So it stays an unidentified watch on the most memorable member of Simon's crew, the killer who never makes a sound.
