Saif Ali Khan wears a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor

On a beach at dusk, Yudi Jaitley sits with his arms crossed and a bright yellow sports watch on his wrist. Saif Ali Khan plays Yudi in Happy Ending (2014), a Bollywood rom-com about a commitment-shy writer in Los Angeles. The watch is a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor in the yellow Valentino Rossi "46" livery, named for the motorcycle champion and his racing number, and it is one Saif Ali Khan owns himself: he was photographed in the same JLC around the film's release.

Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Master Compressor in 2002 around a compression-key system, crowns that lock down by turning to seal the case without screw-down threads. The Valentino Rossi editions came in titanium, in Rossi's racing yellow, with the number 46 on the dial. In this scene the watch turns mostly to its side, so what reads is the yellow strap and the big titanium case rather than the dial.
