Reese Witherspoon wears a Cartier Tank

A steel Cartier Tank fills the frame in the first minutes of Just Like Heaven, its white dial and black Roman numerals turned up as Dr. Elizabeth Masterson checks the time on her way out to her car. Reese Witherspoon plays Elizabeth, an emergency-room resident at the end of a punishing shift who has just been pulled back to look at one more patient. Mark Waters directed the 2005 film, in which Elizabeth is in a car accident that night and returns as a spirit only the apartment's new tenant, played by Mark Ruffalo, can see.
