Ray Winstone wears a Hamilton Khaki Pilot

Stanley was there at the start, in the Congo, when Jim Terrier and his team shot a government minister for the people paying them. Ray Winstone plays him in The Gunman as the older hand of that crew, the mentor to Terrier from the mercenary years. Pierre Morel's 2015 thriller picks the story up almost a decade later, after the security firm that once hired them starts quietly killing off everyone who was in the room. Stanley is one of the names on that list.

The watch on his wrist is hard to call. Crowd-sourced watch-spotting sites tag it as a Hamilton Khaki Pilot, the brand's aviation line, but they are the only sources, no reference number comes with the name, and the film never frames the watch closely enough to read a maker off the dial. So Hamilton Khaki Pilot stands here as a possibility and nothing firmer.
