Pierce Brosnan was a year out of Remington Steele and seven years from Bond when he made Taffin. Francis Megahy directed this 1988 Irish thriller about a debt collector who takes on corrupt property developers trying to force a chemical plant into a small town. Brosnan plays Mark Taffin in a leather jacket, solving problems with intimidation and the occasional headbutt. The film had a small budget, a local cast, and went nowhere at the time, but it found a second life online thanks to a scene where Brosnan shouts "then maybe you shouldn't be living here!" with a fury that comes out of nowhere and matches nothing else in the movie.
A gold pilot-style watch is noted in the records, but the featured image is a promotional still and no details are visible. Whatever Taffin wears, it needs to survive bar fights. The watch hasn't been identified.
