Pierce Brosnan wears an unidentified watch

Daniel Rafferty wears an unidentified watch in Laws of Attraction. Pierce Brosnan plays a divorce attorney who is brilliant but messy, the opposite of his opposing counsel played by Julianne Moore. He arrives late, spills things, and somehow wins cases anyway. The watch is hard to identify. Not the predictable Rolex you would expect from a Manhattan lawyer. Could be vintage, could be something he found interesting. That ambiguity fits a character who does not do things the expected way. I notice the watch during courtroom scenes and dinner arguments. It is not ostentatious, but it is not invisible either. Rafferty seems like the type who would wear something with a story behind it rather than something that screams money. The film is a romantic comedy about opposites attracting. Moore times everything precisely. Brosnan operates on instinct. His watch, whatever it is, probably runs a few minutes off because he has not bothered to set it correctly. That would track for the character. Some people live by the clock. Daniel Rafferty just wears one.
