John Woo spent a decade making the best action films to come out of Hong Kong (The Killer, Hard Boiled, A Better Tomorrow), then moved to Hollywood and made Face/Off. Windtalkers (2002) was his attempt at something different: a WWII film about the Navajo code talkers whose unwritten language was used to transmit battlefield communications because the Japanese could not break it. Nicolas Cage plays Sergeant Joe Enders, a Marine assigned to protect Private Ben Yahzee (Adam Beach), with secret orders to kill the code talker rather than let him be captured.
Cage's watch is visible in the available image, what appears to be a military-style piece with a light dial on a fabric or leather strap, consistent with what a Marine sergeant would wear in the Pacific theater. The brand has not been identified. For a character dealing with the moral weight of his orders, the watch is just standard issue equipment. Enders is not thinking about what is on his wrist. He is thinking about whether he can follow through on an order that means killing the man sitting next to him.
