Nicolas Cage wears an unidentified watch

NYPD officer Robert Cunningham, short on cash after lunch at Sal's Pizzeria in Yonkers, offered his waitress Phyllis Penzo half of his lottery ticket instead of a tip. It hit for $6 million. They split it and stayed friends. Andrew Bergman's It Could Happen to You (1994) romanticizes that into a love story, with Nicolas Cage as Charlie Lang, the cop, and Bridget Fonda as the waitress Yvonne Biasi. Rosie Perez plays Lang's wife Muriel, who gets increasingly unhinged as her husband gives half of their $4 million to a woman he barely knows.
