Miou-Miou wears a Cartier Panthère de Cartier

In one scene of Larguees (2018), released in English as Dumped, Francoise sits between her two daughters on a rattan couch with all three pairs of feet dangling in a fish-pedicure tank. Francoise, played by Miou-Miou, has just been left by her husband for a younger woman, and her daughters have taken her to a resort on Reunion Island for her sixtieth birthday: Rose, Camille Cottin's wacky party animal, and Alice, Camille Chamoux's happily married opposite. The trip swerves when Rose pays a one-night stand named Thierry, played by Johan Heldenbergh, to show her mother a good time. Eloise Lang wrote and directed, remaking the Danish comedy All Inclusive.

The French watch site Montres de Luxe identified the watch on Francoise's wrist as a Cartier Panthere in gold and steel. Nobody else has covered the film's watches, and the available stills keep her cuffs over her wrists, so the two-tone Panthere stands as a single French call. The watch itself is one of Cartier's jewelry-first designs: the Panthere debuted in 1983 with a flat chain-link bracelet closer to jewelry than to a strap, left the catalog in the 2000s, and returned in 2017, the year before the film.
