Every time Dolores appears in Shutter Island, she is already dead. Michelle Williams plays the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio's Teddy Daniels in Martin Scorsese's 2010 psychological thriller, and she exists entirely in flashback and hallucination. The film is set on an island psychiatric facility in 1954, where Teddy arrives as a U.S. Marshal investigating a missing patient. What he is actually doing is reliving the trauma of his wife's death, and Williams' Dolores is the memory he keeps returning to. In this image, the two press their foreheads together as ash falls around them — one of the film's dream sequences where Dolores dissolves into fire and debris while Teddy tries to hold on.
No watch is visible on Williams in the featured image. Dolores appears in domestic scenes and fragmented memories, and whatever she wears in those sequences is 1950s costuming — housedresses, floral prints. The watch hasn't been identified. For a character who only exists inside a broken man's head, the details are Teddy's invention as much as anything else.
