Michael Fassbender wears a Rolex Datejust

Steven Soderbergh made Black Bag (2025) as a lean 94-minute spy thriller, written by David Koepp. George Woodhouse, a career intelligence officer played by Michael Fassbender, is told to investigate his own wife Kathryn (Cate Blanchett) after evidence suggests she is selling secrets. Tom Burke, Marisa Abela, Regé-Jean Page, Naomie Harris, and Pierce Brosnan fill out the ensemble, and the British house Dunhill tailored the suits.

On Fassbender's wrist, as he stands at the kitchen counter with Kathryn against his shoulder, is a steel watch on a Jubilee bracelet, the look of a Rolex Datejust. No watch publication has confirmed it and the brand is not legible in the frame, but the five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet and plain steel case fit the Datejust, the dress Rolex made continuously since 1945. On Woodhouse it reads as understated, the dress watch of a man in a plain black turtleneck.
