- Actor
- Michael Douglas
- Character
- Hank Pym
- Status
- Confirmed
Peyton Reed directed Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third Ant-Man film and the first entry in what Marvel called the Multiverse Saga. Michael Douglas plays Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man and the scientist who discovered Pym Particles. Paul Rudd plays Scott Lang. Evangeline Lilly plays Hope van Dyne. Jonathan Majors plays Kang the Conqueror. The film opened strong but dropped off quickly as audiences and critics found the Quantum Realm sequences visually monotonous.
Hank Pym wears a Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical in bronze, Hamilton's first bronze-cased watch. The 38mm case develops its own patina over time based on environmental exposure. On a scientist who has spent decades experimenting with subatomic physics and whose wife was lost in the Quantum Realm for thirty years, a watch that changes with age has a quiet resonance. The H-50 hand-wound movement provides an 80-hour power reserve, and the brown leather NATO strap matches the bronze tone.
