Matt Davis wears a Hublot Elegant

Rich Cowan's Shadow of Fear (2004) is a thriller about one bad decision compounding into many. Matthew Davis plays Harrison French, a young real-estate executive who kills a man in a drunk-driving accident and hides the body, then is pulled into the orbit of William Ashbury, a fixer-attorney played by James Spader who trades in other people's secrets. Robin Tunney plays Harrison's wife Wynn, with Aidan Quinn and Peter Coyote in the cast.

Harrison wears a Hublot Elegant, a black-dialed model with Arabic numerals from the brand's pre-Big Bang era. Hublot was founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, whose original idea was to pair a gold case with a natural rubber strap, and the Elegant line carried that into a slimmer, more traditional dress watch.
