Martin Wallström wears a Patek Philippe Aquanaut

Sebastian Silverberg is twenty-five, rich, and consumed by appearances. In Ego (2013), the Swedish comedy-drama directed by Lisa James Larsson, Martin Wallström plays him through a life of parties and one-night stands until an accident takes his eyesight and forces him to work out what, if anything, mattered underneath.

The crowdsourced site Spotern lists Sebastian's watch as a Patek Philippe Aquanaut, and in other scenes a Panerai Luminor Marina. Neither identification is repeated by any watch publication, and the watches are not clearly legible in the stills available, so both rest on that single weak source. Patek introduced the Aquanaut in 1997 as the casual, sportier sibling to the Nautilus, with an embossed dial and a composite strap meant for the kind of wear a formal Calatrava was never built for.
