Luke Bracey wears a Timex Expedition

On a missile interceptor platform in the middle of the Pacific, Alexander Kessel leads three operatives through a hatchway, a tan work glove tucked at his belt and a black field watch worn dial-out on his left wrist. Kessel is an ex-military intelligence soldier who has switched sides: with the battery at Fort Greely in Alaska knocked out, this platform is the last thing standing between sixteen stolen Russian nuclear warheads and the American cities they are aimed at, and he has come to shut it down from the inside.

The watch gets clear screen time and carries a hazy identity. Watch-ID, the crowdsourced sighting site, logs it as the Timex Expedition Rugged Analog T49831, a 43mm black resin case on a black resin strap with a date window at three, a 24-hour inner track, and an Indiglo backlight, listed there at fifty dollars from Timex and thirty-five on Amazon. That call has no second opinion behind it. No watch publication covered Interceptor. The frames themselves show a round black case, a black textured strap, a luminous triangle at twelve, and blocky white markers, a dial layout that fits the Rugged Analog. No shot is sharp enough to read the brand.

Interceptor was the author Matthew Reilly's directorial debut, made for Netflix, with Elsa Pataky's Captain J.J. Collins as the officer defending the platform against Kessel's takeover. Until a sharper frame or a better source turns up, the Rugged Analog is a good fit rather than a settled identification.
