F9 (2021) is the entry where the franchise leaves the planet. Justin Lin's film sends Tej Parker and Roman Pearce to Germany to recruit Sean Boswell's crew, who have been working on a rocket car, and the third act fires the two of them into orbit in it to destroy a satellite before it can finish uploading. The plan works. The satellite goes down and the upload stops.
The evidence frame catches Tej in a quieter moment, arms folded, and the watch is plainly visible on his wrist: a black chronograph dial inside a bright red case, on a black strap. The catalog match is the Ritmo Mundo Quantum 2 Red, reference 1101/4, a 50mm watch running a Swiss Ronda quartz chronograph under a dial built in five layers, which the brand still lists at 1,950 dollars. Ritmo Mundo is a small Beverly Hills company, founded in 2002 by Ali Soltani, and its watches lean loud: big cases, saturated color, prices a working character could plausibly afford.
No watch publication wrote up Tej's wrist for this film. The identification lives in enthusiast catalogs and in the frame itself, where the red case and black dial line up with the Quantum 2 Red. The nearest outside support sits one film back, where the watch press did document the same red Quantum 2 on the same character.
