No Other Choice (2025) is Park Chan-wook's adaptation of Donald Westlake's novel The Ax, a black comedy about a man named Yoo Man-su who spends twenty-five years in the paper industry, gets laid off, and decides the surest way back into a job is to kill the other candidates one by one. Lee Byung-Hun plays him. The film premiered in competition at Venice and reached the United States through Neon.
This still frames Man-su from below in a grey tweed jacket, lifting a large blue-and-white Korean planter, a chili plant trailing over its rim, above his head. On his right wrist, between the shirt cuff and the jacket sleeve, is a watch on a dark leather strap, a plain dress piece with its dial turned against the pot so the face never shows. No source has named it.
