Spooks: The Greater Good (2015), directed by Bharat Nalluri, is a film spun off from Spooks, the BBC spy series that ran for ten seasons from 2002 to 2011; Nalluri had directed the series' first episodes. Peter Firth returns as Harry Pearce, the veteran MI5 officer at the center of the series. When a convoy transporting a captured terrorist through London is ambushed and the prisoner escapes, Harry is blamed and disappears, and a former MI5 officer named Will Holloway, whose late father had worked alongside Harry, is brought back from Moscow to find him. Holloway is played by Kit Harington, then in the middle of his Game of Thrones run.

The watch on Holloway's wrist is a Seiko SNE095P2, identified by the French site Montres-de-luxe. It is a solar-powered field watch with a black dial in a forty-millimeter steel case, rated to a hundred meters and worn on a green nylon NATO strap. In a rooftop scene near St. Paul's Cathedral, where Holloway aims a pistol two-handed, the green strap and dark dial are clearly visible on his wrist. At around a hundred and fifty dollars, it is one of the more affordable watches Seiko sells, and the solar movement means it never needs a battery.
