Kad Merad wears a Hamilton Khaki Aviation

In Olivier Baroux's Safari (2009), Kad Merad plays Richard Dacier, a Paris travel agent who runs a safari business without ever having been on one. When his debts catch up with him, he has to lead a group of tourists across the African bush himself. Omar Sy turns up in an early role, a couple of years before The Intouchables made him a star.

Dacier wears a Hamilton Khaki Aviation QNE, a 42mm steel pilot's watch whose rotating bezel is built around the QNE setting, the standard pressure pilots use as an altimeter reference. It is a cockpit instrument on the wrist of a man who runs his safaris from a desk in Paris.
