Jon Hamm wears a Rolex GMT-Master

Ben Affleck's The Town (2010) sets a crew of Charlestown bank robbers against the FBI, and Jon Hamm plays Special Agent Adam Frawley, the agent chasing them. On his wrist is a Rolex GMT-Master, reference 16700, the two-time-zone tool watch with an aluminum bezel that Rolex built from 1988 to 1999.

It is a quietly knowing choice for a federal agent in a Boston procedural. The 16700 was the last of the original GMT-Masters before the GMT-Master II took over the line, so by 2010 Frawley is wearing something already a little vintage, a working watch rather than a flex.
