Home / Pulp Fiction / John Travolta
- Actor
- John Travolta
- Character
- Vincent Vega
- Watch
- Timex Q
- Status
- Confirmed
John Travolta's Vincent Vega is not a careful man. He leaves his gun on a kitchen counter, the heroin in his coat pocket nearly kills his boss's wife, and he accidentally shoots Marvin in the face in the back of a car. The watch on his wrist in Pulp Fiction matches that carelessness: a Timex Q, about the cheapest watch going, worn without a second thought.
The screen-worn piece is documented. Julien's Auctions sold Travolta's actual watch from the film, a Timex Q reference 989502, nicknamed the "Red Nebula" for the red marbleized dial under its faceted crystal, though on screen the dial reads plain black. It is a 38mm stainless steel quartz with a day-date window at three, and Vincent wears it on a black Fossil leather strap rather than the stock bracelet.
