John Cena wears a Shinola The Black Blizzard

Each Lottery Day a winner is drawn, and anyone holding a losing ticket may legally kill that winner before sundown and claim the prize instead; the one restriction is that nobody may use a gun. Katie Kim, a former child actor played by Awkwafina, wins 3.6 billion dollars by accident, and John Cena plays Noel Cassidy, the freelance protection agent who proposes to keep her alive until sunset for a cut. Simu Liu plays Louis Lewis, who runs a rival protection agency with darker intentions. Paul Feig directed Rob Yescombe's script, developed at Amazon under the title Grand Death Lotto, and Prime Video released it on August 15, 2024.

Cena wears a Shinola Black Blizzard, a chronograph with a titanium case and titanium bracelet. Shinola released the Black Blizzard in 2014 as its first titanium watch, building on its Runwell chronograph with a rotating bezel, 200 meters of water resistance, and the Argonite 5050 quartz chronograph inside, a movement assembled in Detroit from Swiss Ronda kits; the company itself is a revival of an old Detroit shoe polish factory. The name reaches back to the Dust Bowl. A black blizzard was one of the dust storms that buried towns in Oklahoma in the 1930s, and Shinola said the name was meant to allude to American perseverance; every Black Blizzard shipped with a leather-bound coffee table book about the storms.

The watch came in two sizes, 42 and 48 millimeters, otherwise identical, and nothing published ties Noel's to either one. What the screen shows is the titanium: in one scene Cena stands in a gleaming white clinic in a tank top, and the link bracelet sits plainly on his left wrist.
