John Candy wears an unidentified watch

John Candy plays Chet Ripley in The Great Outdoors (1988), and in this lakeside-lodge scene he sits beside his needling brother-in-law Roman while the two of them spar. Where the green sweater cuff rides up on his lap, a round steel watch shows on his wrist, a dark dial facing up on a steel bracelet, sitting next to the ring on his finger.
