Jocelyn Quivrin wears a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor

Jocelyn Quivrin died in a car accident in November 2009, at thirty, leaving a small body of work that included Lisa Azuelos's LOL (Laughing Out Loud). The 2008 comedy is built around a group of Parisian teenagers and the parents trying to keep up with them, with Sophie Marceau as Anne, a recently divorced mother trying to stay close to her daughter Lola. Quivrin plays Lucas, a police commissioner Anne has begun seeing, one of the adults in her life rather than a part of the teenagers' world.

The watch has been identified as a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor, though it is never clearly legible on screen. Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Master Compressor line in 2002 around a patented compression key, a small lever set into the side of the case that pressed the crown gaskets tight and let the watch reach 200 meters of water resistance without a screw-down crown. The cases ran deliberately large, built to stand alongside the oversized sport watches that were selling in the mid-2000s.
