In John Madden's 2016 thriller Miss Sloane, Jessica Chastain plays Elizabeth Sloane, a ruthless Washington lobbyist who switches firms to take on the gun lobby. The watches she wears are Piaget, and that is not incidental: Chastain is a Piaget brand ambassador, and the maison placed the pieces in the film, documented down to their reference numbers by Worldtempus and Europa Star Jewellery. The one seen most clearly is the Piaget Dancer, reference G0A38046, a 38mm case in 18K white gold set with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds around the bezel on a matching white gold bracelet.
Sloane does not wear a single watch. Piaget's list for the film also names the Traditional Oval and two pairs of Couture Precieuse diamond earrings, so the Dancer is one of several pieces rotated across her scenes. In an office scene beside Mark Strong, the round diamond-set case sits high on her left wrist as she leans over a chair.
