General Koskov is the kind of Bond villain who smiles while he lies. Jeroen Krabbe plays him in The Living Daylights (1987) as a Soviet general who stages his own defection to trick MI6 into killing his rival, General Pushkin (John Rhys-Davies). The scheme involves manipulating Bond (Timothy Dalton, in his first appearance as 007) and partnering with Joe Don Baker's arms dealer Brad Whitaker. Krabbe plays Koskov as jovial and effusive — the kind of man who hugs you while arranging your assassination.

In this image, Koskov points urgently at something, wearing a tan suit and green tie in what looks like a North African location. A silver watch is clearly visible on his wrist — round case, steel bracelet, light dial. It looks like a substantial piece, the kind of watch a Soviet general with expensive Western tastes would acquire. Koskov lives well on both sides of the Iron Curtain. The make and model haven't been identified.
