Le Paltoquet (released in English as The Nonentity, 1986) is a Michel Deville chamber piece with a remarkable ensemble: Fanny Ardant, Daniel Auteuil, Richard Bohringer, Philippe Léotard, Jeanne Moreau, Michel Piccoli, Claude Piéplu, and Jean Yanne. Four men meet every evening in a deserted bar to play cards; a body turns up nearby, and a police inspector arrives to investigate. Yanne plays the inspector.

On his wrist is a Patek Philippe Nautilus. Gérald Genta designed the Nautilus for Patek Philippe in 1976, four years after he drew the Royal Oak for Audemars Piguet, giving it a porthole-shaped case with a horizontally grooved dial and an integrated bracelet that turned a steel sports watch into a luxury object.
