James Marsden wears a Rolex Datejust

Partway through 27 Dresses (2008), Jane and Kevin wind up at a bar doing shots and howling along to Bennie and the Jets, the night she finally cuts loose with him. What Kevin wears is harder to settle than it looks. A single French watch site calls it a steel Rolex Datejust on an Oyster bracelet, but it names no scene and shows no photo, and no watch publication, auction listing, or brand source backs the claim. The watch never gets a clean close-up in the film. The Datejust, the Rolex that introduced the date window in 1945, is a fair guess, but it stays a guess.
