Bruce Tucker keeps a boat, runs shark-cage dives, and feeds his customers to the sharks. Jai Courtney plays the killer in Sean Byrne's Dangerous Animals (2025), an Australian horror film that strands its heroine on his vessel with nothing between her and the ocean but his rituals and her own nerve. Hassie Harrison plays Zephyr, the surfer he abducts, and the tagline runs: you are safer in the water.
Byrne made The Loved Ones in 2009, another contained Australian horror that wrung dread out of a small space, and Dangerous Animals works the same way, holding the tension on the boat. On Tucker's wrist, as he loads a syringe in the galley, is a chunky all-black resin sport watch with a round dark face, the cheap and waterproof kind a man who works the water actually wears. No brand is legible, and no source has named it.
